It is made from Eri Silk also called peace silk thanks to its cruelty-free creation process. No worms are hurt during the harvesting of the cocoon as the cocoons are opened and the moth flies off before it’s collected.
The Eri Silk has all the quality of the silk while being soft like cotton. It has a unique isothermal quality that keeps you warm in winter and cools in summer, making this shawl the perfect accessory all year long.
