This Bhutanese mountain tea by Druk Metho is a blend of edible flowers, herbs, spice and fruits.
Ingredients:
Ingredients: Spearmint, Peppermint, Lemon Verbena, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Clove, Apple and Edible Flowers (Calendula and Cornflower)
Product description:
40 grams
Instruction:
Bring water to short of a boiling point ( about 90° C). Herbal tea benefits from brewing in boiled water that’s been left to cool a little. This helps to coax out the flavors. But if you prefer your tea to have a bite to it, steep for longer than 5 minutes.
About the producer:
Druk Metho (Dragon Flower) wants to help reverse the trend of rural-urban migration by developing more lucrative and diverse livelihoods for rural farming communities and empowering women in the villages. Valuable edible flowers will be grown by the Drachukha Flower Group and processed by Druk Metho in partnership for export to Switzerland as well as for local value-addition.
Druk Metho will be the first EU-certified organic farm in Bhutan, making an important contribution to the country’s goal to go 100% organic.
