This scarf has been handwoven with care by artisan women in the Atelier of CDK in Bhutan. The locally grown cotton is spun into fluffy soft yarn and dyed before being handwoven on a traditional back-strap loom.

CDK is a Bhutanese contemporary apparel, accessories, and home-wear brand. Launched in 2014 by Chandrika Tamang.
Ms. Chandrika is a passionate entrepreneur and self-taught designer who started designing and tailoring from her house. With only traditional clothing available in the market, she saw an opportunity in developing clothing with modern lines using traditional weaving methods.
