This colourful face mask has been handwoven in Bhutan by experienced weavers in the Atelier of Kelzang Textiles, using traditional techniques.
Made of silk woven on cotton, it has a unique intricated and detailed patterns. This mask has been woven with deep blue and green color accent, giving it a more formal look than the rest of our “Nangong Khorlo” selection.
The geometric pattern called “nangong khorlo” is a traditionnal bhutanese symbol often found on the national attires, it represents the wild flowers of Bhutan.
Breathable, soft and lightweight, this facemark is comfortable to wear. Pleated and reusable, its double layer of cotton fabric makes it compliant with health regulations.

Instruction:
Hand wash or wash in delicate cycle with neutral soap, then hang or lay flat to dry. Iron, steam or dry with low heat. Do NOT bleach.
About the producer:
Kelzang handicraft produce exquisite Bhutanese textiles & crafts since 1995.
Kelzang Wangmo aka Jambay, the founder is from Khoma village in Lhuntse which is famed for the exquisite -Kishutharas- the “skirt” part of the traditional attire.
She was only ten when she started weaving in her village. At 16 she moved to Thimphu with her family, and started weaving and selling Kiras and Ghos with her two sisters
Nowadays ambay designs most of the textiles at her shop and has women weaving for her in Thimphu as well as in Lhuntse. She has won several awards for their designs from the Royal Textile Academy.
