This beautiful handwoven silk on cotton scarf is made in Bhutan by talented female artisans. This beige scarf is finished with delicate brown details inspired by traditional Bhutanese motifs on both side.
The locally grown cotton is spun into fluffy soft yarn and naturally dyed before being handwoven on a traditional back-strap loom.

CDK is a Bhutanese contemporary apparel, accessories and home wear brand. Launched in 2014 by Chandrika Tamang.
Ms. Chandrika is a passionate entrepreneur and self-taught designer who started designing and tailoring from her house. With only traditional clothing available in the market, she saw an opportunity in developing clothing with modern line using traditional weaving method. Inspired by nature and the environment, her designs showcase how traditional Bhutanese patterns and methods of weaving can be easily infused to create very fashionable and contemporary designs.
Her clothing line is eco-friendly, empowers women to take charge of their future, promotes the Bhutanese culture and focuses on sustainability.
