About the producer:
Colours of Bhutan is an eco-friendly, handmade textile company that started in the home of Wangchuk Lhamo in 2016. Wangchuk, a 30 years-old Bhutanese, third-generation weaver had a vision for sustainable textiles using only natural and renewable materials.
Her brand, Colours of Bhutan, creates contemporary textile products, using time-tested traditional methods. Working in harmony with Nature, they create their own natural dyes, from materials foraged from the forest, recycled from food waste and also grown in their garden. Their team of weavers work from the comfort of their homes and at their own pace. The designs are simple with delicate hand-stitched details giving them a modern, elevated feel.
The brand reflects and celebrates slow, sustainable living where social responsibility is not sacrificed for mass and fast production.
